Bleed-throughs occur when other experiences you've had outside of this physical, present reality, manifest or merge. It's as if other probable selves bleed through and give you a glimpse of other dimensions. It can be like all of a sudden you feel like you can dance really well or play piano. I know someone who just one day started singing really, really well and she said she had never sung before in her life.
Smells can trigger a bleed-through. It's like all of a sudden you get transported to another time. The smell of food or perfume or sometimes it's just in the atmosphere. Sometimes it's someone you met who you have never met before and they remind you of someone else so much. Sometimes it's just their personality and sometimes it's their looks. I remember being at a rollerskating rink in Connecticut and this girl looked identical to my older sister Brenda. I mean so exactly like her. I am not sure what the message was there. My mother and I both approached and stared at her. She was smoking and my mother was about to reprimand her only it wasn't her.
Sometimes it's just the energy in the air that you can't pinpoint. I remember water skiing at summer camp and the smell of the gasoline from the speedboat was so pungent. Plus the energy was strongly on me to make sure I got up on my skis. Every time I smell that particular type of gas it takes me back to water skiing at summer camp. Songs produce produce bleed-throughs so much so. You hear a song from your past and it takes you right back to a certain time in your life. There was a boy at summer camp who used to DJ the Saturday night dances and the song Wild Horses became our song. So now every time I hear that song, I think of him and get transported back to the most incredible time of my childhood.
The taste of a certain kind of food can do it too. Like cereal reminds me of my grandparents. I would go visit them over the Xmas holiday and they would always have cereal. Cereal and a glass of orange juice. Every morning. These things trigger something. They take me back to that time and things associated with it.
People who are really in tune are called psychics. They are able to tap in to different dimensions and consciousnesses really easily. Even without a trigger. Channelers do the same. I would call what I do auto-writing because I'm not sure what I'm going to write. I really don't. Just comes to me.
We all experience bleed-throughs. Some people have a hard time recognizing them. Dreams can offer a wealth of information about our probable selves. Sometimes when I'm writing or have been on a cat track skiing, or walking my dogs, it seems I am the only person alive on this earth. It's like nothing is what it seems. Everything is very ephemeral. So much madness in the world blocks our innate psychic abilities. All of our consumerism, materialism and just modern life interferes with it. That's why meditation is so great. Now if I could only start doing it regularly myself.
