I like the style of writing in this essay. If I understand correctly, the author has a central theme that she keeps coming back to after a seemingly relaxed stroll with secondary characters and tidbits. But it is cohesive and the stroll serves to bolster her arguments in an indirect manner. Until by the end, I too was wondering what I think was a major point; why do so many seemingly good and powerful people not speak out or question obviously hurtful behavior of their peers? I just asked my friends who live all over like LA, NYC, Austin, Missouri, London, Atlanta and Chicago. They all had it happen to them more than once. I will say they are all attractive women however it's bizarre. All unsolicited.
